Choral Consultancy

Ruth is passionate about the craft of choral fixing and takes considerable care in how she combines different vocal colours and resonances for each project. She runs a broad portfolio of freelance choral fixing, including fixing singers for Choir of the Academy of Ancient Music, Polyphony, Sonoro, and London Early Opera.

She offers a popular fixing service to amateur choirs, providing professional singers to fill gaps in ensembles. In addition, she fixes on an ad-hoc basis for a variety of performances and recordings.

She was delighted to join Cambridge Handel Opera Company as Associate Director in November 2024 and is thrilled to be combining her love for voices with strategic artistic planning.
